Vice President and General Manager
Jorge is the VP/GM of inCode and has more than 20 years of telecommunications experience directing projects for wireless and wireline telecommunications carriers, equipment manufacturers, cable MSOs and private equity companies in areas of wireless technology, corporate strategy and wireless solutions. Prior to joining inCode, Jorge was Director of the Transportation Practice for Vytek, co- founder of Extendea, and Associate Director of International Development for Bellsouth Mobile Data. He also was a Senior Manager in the Communications Industry practice at Deloitte Consulting, where he led projects in strategy and business development for many of North America’s largest telecom companies. Jorge began his career at Booz, Allen & Hamilton as a technology consultant.
Jorge holds an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and a BSEE from the University of Virginia. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is the Co-Chair of the Board of the Artemis Guild at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History.
Vice President Business Development
Rob is responsible for Business Development at inCode and is also the chief technologist. With 25+ years in Telecommunications and wireless, Rob brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to client engagements. Rob joined inCode in 2001 and has held several positions leading business development and consulting delivery both domestically and internationally. Previous to inCode Rob was SVP of Network and Subscriber Device Technology Development at Nextel where he led development activities from first inception to first market introduction.
Rob has a Masters of Business Administration Marketing from St. Mary’s College in California
Vice President Business Strategy
Bob is co-lead of inCode’s Cloud Services Practice as well as Private Equity Practice, and has more than 25 years of telecom and high technology experience ranging across a wide variety of senior leadership roles in strategy consulting, business development and finance. Particular areas of expertise include all aspects of Strategy Development, modeling and financial analysis, and financial and strategic due diligence. Prior to inCode, Bob held several senior management and strategy leadership roles in a series of entrepreneurial ventures ranging from CFO of an internet marketing services firm to VP of Strategy and Product Management for a start-up communications service provider. Previously, Bob was Corporate Strategy and Business Development Vice President for AT&T, where he was deeply engaged in a wide variety of strategic efforts including joint venture and partnership development, and M&A activities. Bob began his career at the Boston Consulting Group, assisting major telecom and technology-focused corporations craft their strategies.
Bob holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Adrian brings over 20 years experience in product marketing, sales, strategy and operations consulting working for numerous Fortune 100, Government and technology organizations such as RIM, TELUS and AT&T . A consummate entrepreneur, Adrian was a key player in a number of startup companies prior to inCode, taking an executive role leading the marketing and sales organization, and working with the investment community, securing numerous rounds of VC funding. Most recently, Adrian was a principal in an engineering firm performing Enterprise deployments for in-building and outdoor Wi-Fi. In addition, he was a prime lead for the wireless practice at Bell Enterprise and Bell SMB developing their operational and sales capabilities.
Adrian holds a B.Comm in Accounting and an MBA, Finance both from Concordia University
Charles (Chuck) Napier has over 20 years of experience in leading new businesses and launching new products in the telecom and media industries. As a Managing Director for inCode in the Business Strategy Group, Chuck leads inCode’s Internet and Media practice, as well as co-leads the Private Equity practice. Chuck has held senior executive roles across the industry ecosystem with broad expertise covering network infrastructure, mobile commerce, devices, and mobile applications. Chuck has led successful consulting engagements with senior executives on strategy for new markets, go-to-market plans, operations improvement, product roadmaps, and program management.
Prior to inCode, Chuck served as Senior Vice-President, Strategic Alliances at AnyDATA, a global OEM provider of wireless devices and modules, where he managed business relations with Google, Amazon.com, Qualcomm, and other key accounts. Before AnyDATA, Chuck was VP, Carrier Business Development at Air2Web where he established their global carrier connections and launched new carrier messaging services. Previous to Air2Web, he was Senior Vice President, Business Development for WMode – a wireless content and transactions billing service. He also served as VP, Marketing and Business Development at Convergence, a mobile marketing start-up, which was acquired by Amazon.com. At Amazon, he was product manager to launch Amazon’s mobile phone store and mobile shopping service. He spent over six years with GTE Mobilnet, now part of Verizon Wireless, where he pioneered that company’s entry into the wireless data market.
Chuck holds an M.B.A. in Marketing and Strategy from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management and earned a B.A. in Economics with Honors from the University of Virginia.
Vikash is a seasoned Telecom, Media & Technology (TMT) Executive with 20+ years of globally diverse experience accomplished by playing key role in the success of organizations across US, Germany, Switzerland, and New Zealand. At inCode, Vikash is accountable for building leading-edge technology consulting practice, structuring complex transformational programs, leading high-impact technology teams, and managing C-level relationships. Vikash’s current focus areas include: 5G, Ultra-Dense Networks, innovative deployment business models, and evolving spectrum models (such as spectrum sharing via SAS and unlicensed options). At an operational level, Vikash thrives on exceeding client and stakeholder expectations by combining exceptional technical qualifications with outstanding business and leadership skills to deliver strong and sustainable strategic objectives, financial gains, and operational efficiencies
Vikash holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and Bachelor of Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the University of Auckland in New Zealand.
Mr. Hardin has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry including fixed and mobile wireless, backhaul and regulatory engagements. He is a recognized leader in the wireless broadband arena with deep experience in spectrum matters and has interfaced extensively with the FCC and several international regulatory bodies on spectrum matters.
Prior to joining inCode Telecom, Mr. Hardin founded and led Hardin & Associates, Inc., a wireless technology consulting firm, for twenty-two years bringing the firm to the forefront of the wireless broadband industry. During this time, Mr. Hardin additionally supported several Private Equity clients with technical and operational due diligence for numerous wireless telecom acquisitions as well as a expert witness.
Mr. Hardin holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is a licensed Professional Engineer.
Peter Atwal has more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications and technology industry, including 15 years in Venture Capital and Private Equity. In addition to his role as a subject matter expert across a dizzying array of fields, Peter leads the inCode Energy & Utilities and Network Evolution practices. Throughout his career, he has been an innovator and an entrepreneur, founding 16 companies in the fiber, wireless and software industries, including one of the first coherent optical switch companies in the United States and Mesh Networks, the first peer-to-peer WiFi company. He is a former President of the largest holder of fixed wireless spectrum in the United States. Like all inCode consultants, Peter brings to the table a love of technology and deep industry expertise.
David has over fifteen years of management consulting and corporate strategy experience in the telecommunications, media, and technology (TMT) segments. David leads inCode’s Strategy and Economics practice, where his focus areas include business strategy and economics, M&A and investment due diligence, and go-to-market strategy. Before joining inCode, David was a Director at Altman Vilandrie & Co., and a Manager at A.T. Kearney. He also held senior-level corporate strategy roles at two leading mobile infrastructure companies where he defined market entry and growth strategies to serve emerging mobile internet segments.
David holds an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, an MS in Engineering from Dartmouth College, and a BS in Engineering from the University of New Hampshire.
Richard is a Managing Director and co-lead for inCode’s Private Equity and MSO Practices. He has over 25 years of experience in the Cable and Media industries, and has held senior executive positions at major Cable/Telecom and Fortune 100 companies.
Throughout his career, Richard has successfully grown new technology ventures into profitable businesses, managed numerous M&A transactions in partnership with multibillion-dollar private equity firms. He also helped lead several corporate turnarounds, creating over $1B in incremental enterprise value.
His background as a senior operating executive and strategy consultant provides clients with forward-looking leadership based on many years of experience and value creation.
Richard holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan and attended the Executive Management program at Babson University.
Joe has over 20 years of experience in the telecom, media, and technology working with Fortune 100 financial institutions, telecom companies as well as a number of startups. Joe is the co-lead of the MSO as well as the Enterprise and Cloud practice areas within inCode. He directs projects for leading MNO and MSOs in the areas of product and technology strategy in areas such as WiFi, new product introduction, go to market planning, spectrum strategy, 5G strategy, small cells, CPE, business solutions, Unified Communications, managed services, etc. Prior to joining inCode Joe was the VP of Product / Chief Operating Officer for Squareloop, a unique location-based messaging company he cofounded. He was also Director of Investments at Virginia’s Center for Innovative Technology; investing in and advising a number of startups in various fields from telecommunications to healthcare.
Joe holds a Bachelors in Business Administration in Finance from James Madison University and a Masters of Business Administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.
Managing Director – Energy & Utilities Practice
Koustuv heads up inCode’s Energy & Utilities industry consulting practice for North America. He joined inCode Consulting having brought over 25 years of strategy consulting and business development experience in his domains of expertise – driving business transformation in the areas of power utilities and oil & gas operations, and technology assessments toward M&A transactions.
Prior to joining inCode, Koustuv has had leadership roles in managing strategy consulting practices and ICT managed services at companies such as T-Systems/Deutsche Telekom (as Head of Business Development for North America), Siemens (Vice President for Energy/Utilities business services for Americas), GE (Marketing Director in GE Energy), IBM (Managing Principal for Energy/Utilities Strategy & Change practice), and Andersen Consulting (Senior Manager in Utilities practice). He has also had stints as an M&A advisor at a boutique transaction advisory firm, as well as a consulting engineer with a power utility in Texas.
Koustuv was nominated by a leading industry publication as “One of the top 50 people in the world in Energy/IT strategy”. He holds a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas.

In 2008, inCode, then owned by Verisign, decided to buy itself out to better address client needs.
